Who are the Program 17 instructors?

Christy Connor, Owner

Christy has an impressive background in the softball industry. Starting her collegiate career at UTSA and then transferring to LSU her sophomore year, playing and coaching in the Women's College World Series, coaching at Division I Louisiana Tech, starting Frozen Ropes at the age of 27, coaching on National Championship teams, running an organization, and now the Director of Performance with the Bombers Fastpitch.

With the industry expanding into metrics and analytics Connor wanted to change the way athletes, coaches, and families viewed hitting instruction. Program 17 was then created!  The Program is based around a culture of committed athletes having the "whatever it takes" attitude, and developing and understanding their swings through metrics, consistent swings patterns, accountability, and competition. The idea of family and "we are in this together" is what makes Program 17 special.

Christy named the Program, Program 17 for multiple reasons,  after being influenced by an article about a  speech a Head Baseball Coach by the name of John Scolinos  gave at a 1996 ABCA Baseball Convention

(Link to article), home plate is 17 inches, and Connor's college number was 17.
